Terms of Service

By using LeafBound at leafbound.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

LeafBound provides a personal link dashboard (/app/) and an optional public creator profile page (/u/your-username). You can organize your links, switch between radial and grid layouts, and share your profile publicly.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of other people without their consent.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use LeafBound.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the links, categories, and profile information you add to LeafBound. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as necessary to operate the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LeafBound to:

• Link to or distribute illegal content, malware, or phishing pages.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload our servers.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free plan: available at no cost with the features described on our pricing page.
• Premium plan: $3.00 USD per month, billed monthly. Payment is processed by Stripe.
• Cancellation: you can cancel your Premium subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you have an issue, contact us and we will do our best to help.
• Price changes: we may change the price of Premium with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep LeafBound running reliably, but we do not guarantee any specific uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of any significant changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

LeafBound is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including loss of data or links. We recommend exporting your data regularly from Settings → Data.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
