Start without paperwork

Your first ten minutes are mostly Minecraft.

Joining Discord or signing into this website is optional. The only required onboarding happens in game: open /guide, read the rules, and accept them.

Connect on Java or Bedrock

Both editions use play.leafbound.app; Bedrock uses port 19132.

Open the in-game guide

The guide uses Java dialogs, Bedrock forms, and a chest fallback so every supported client gets a usable experience.

Accept the rules and become Newcomer

Gameplay unlocks immediately. Your starter tools and base cosmetic collection become available.

Link Discord only if you want rank progression

/link gives a 4-digit code. Linking starts the 4-hour Member and 24-hour Trusted playtime track.

More than vanilla, still survival

Systems that fit the world instead of replacing it.

Protection

Claims + recovery

Protect builds with GriefPrevention, recover drops through Death Chests, and use Soulbound for the items you cannot afford to lose.

Challenges

Two arena styles

Opt into player fights or take on the solo Relic Shrine mob challenge. Arena rewards are stored safely for collection.

World events

Thornmoon

A rare forecast event can turn the sky red, empower hostiles, and double natural hostile XP.

Quality of life

Woolevators + mining tools

Build matching wool elevator stops, unlock Trusted VeinMiner, and combine custom mining enchantments with claim-aware safeguards.

Cosmetics are live

Personalize your character without buying power.

Every Newcomer gets a base pet, trail, arrival, aura, and username color. Supporter collections expand those choices while leaving survival balance untouched.

Community, when you want it

Discord adds connection—not permission to play.

Use Discord for announcements, support, linking, and cross-community chat. You can still join LeafBound, accept the rules, build, and explore without it.
